Es por ello que en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas hemos podido observar una mayor utilizaci\u00f3n de fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables, ya que estas fuentes nos permiten generar electricidad de forma sustentable. Entre las principales fuentes verdes se encuentran la energ\u00eda hidroel\u00e9ctrica, geot\u00e9rmica, mareomotriz, la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica y la energ\u00eda solar fotovoltaica.
